jetta SG I had a big cassette collection too and I was never ever without my Walkman and I'm paying for it now. All those years of having those ear buds in my ears is slowly affecting my hearing. *curses Rick Astley*
sbst275 SG Ok Nvm Cos wanted to sign for it, but mong cha cha End up just extend mobile contract with free 3G phone
jetta SG Wah... man after my own heart. While I enjoyed listening to Debbie Gibson, I loved loved loved the Bangles. Gimme a sample of the titles you already have?
av98m SG ah..rick astley you must have blasted them at loud volumes seems those days most of the stars were produced by the stock aiken and waterman machine thankfully my hearing somehow is ok.
jetta SG This new system started this past Monday so there have been lots of problems and adjustments. I can cry, I tell you. I have to summon up the courage to inform a customer that he cannot receive his delivery until the 19th. He specifically said he needs it by the 18th. No one told me that this outside delivery company that we're now using only delivers Wednesdays and Saturdays. How liddat? I'm soooo stressed!!!!!
jetta SG You're much younger than moi. Keep blasting music on your ear phones for another 5 years and you will catch up. You know, those days I was lucky enough to have a best friend who was an entertainment reporter. She would drag me to concerts for free because she had to review them. I was there at the Brother Beyond concert at The Warehouse; I was dragged to the Hall and Oates concert, Debbie Gibson, Chicago, Richard Marx and a couple of others which I can't remember now.
av98m SG too lazy to type out, but there's pet shop boys, swing out sister, bananarama, village people, queen, phil colins, Tiffany etc Oh, and Zhang Yu Shen!! I could not find a single debbie gibson record!!
Wanda SG Oops! Internal communication problem. SO and I were at the SingPost building yesterday where a car show was held with loud music blasting out of their speakers. The surprising thing was that they were blasting Rick Ashley and other 80's hits, and we wondered why?
av98m SG my listening volumes on my ipod and stereo are still much lower than what the typical student these days cranks it up to. (some I can hear what they are listening when I'm near them on a noisy MRT train!! ) still, I like to crank up the volume and let it rip occasionally
jetta SG Swing Out Sister is one of my absolute favessssssssssssss!!!!!!!!! Do you have Scritti Politti? Something about their music I love.
av98m SG Observation: at all branchs of That CD Shop I've been to, they play music all day at insane volumes I think the young salesgirls there will suffer hearing problems later in life
jetta SG When music is played too loud, my right ear drum tends to hurt. Even when my dogs bark, it hurts. I went for a hearing test a couple of years ago and they found nothing amiss.
jetta SG If you ever get a chance to listen to them, listen to the entire album. Usually it takes me a couple of listens to like/dislike a song but I liked this album from the get-go. Aiyoh, you're making me dig up all the memories.....
av98m SG I've always been sensitive to loud music and sound. That's why I never went through the whole zouk/fire/disco chionging phase. I couldn't stand music played at that volume level I wore earplugs at concerts so my 'let it rip' volume may be normal listening volume for others
Wanda SG I shd be go get some lunch before the korean drama starts. Enjoy your music and have a good weekend!
